Motor City Boxers Bring Home Medals From St Catharine's
Motor City Boxing Club sent two boxers to St. Catharine's this past weekend to compete in the Ray McGibbon's Gloves Tournament.

Saturday afternoon, in the 34kg Cadet "A" Novice division, "Cool Hands" Luke Caride easily defeated Sheldon Wilcox of the Steeltown Boxing Club by a score of 19-11.

In Sunday's gold medal bout, Luke faced off against a tough southpaw by the name of Adam Charlton of the East Windsor Boxing Club. Luke was too sharp for the taller Carlton, defeating him by four points with a score of 31-27 to take home the gold.

Motor City's Decoda Nixon was forced to settle for silver in the 60kg Cadet "C" Novice Division. He fought for gold on Saturday evening, but was outscored Artem Atadzhanyan of the European Boxing Club.

Congratulations are extended to both boxers for their efforts in St Catharine's.
